Inga dostała ortezy. Niestety tak długo na nie czekaliśmy (pomiary we wrześniu), że okazały się nieodpowiednie. Dają Indze wsparcie tylko w kostkach, a to jednak jest już niewystarczające. Inga jeszcze raz dzielnie zniosła pomiary i odlewy gipsowe. Teraz czekamy na dłuższe ortezy, które dadzą wsparcie najsłabszym udom i kolanom. Termin odbioru ortez mamy za dwa tygodnie, oby wszystko poszło zgodnie z planem.

Inga pięknie i wyraźnie mówi, ale jest kilka śmiesznych wyrażeń, które przekręca. W natłoku smutnych spraw, trochę rozjaśniają nam one dni. M.in. krakosy (kabanosy), koleczada (czekolada) i cała plejada księżniczek: Kapciuszek (Kopciuszek), Śmieszka (Śnieżka), Sarenka (Syrenka Arielka).

Już minął miesiąc od kiedy FDA zatwierdziła lek na SMA w USA. Czekamy kiedy EMA podejmie decyzję w Unii Europejskiej…

Inga got leg splints. Unfortunately we waited for them so long (since September) that they are not appropriate anymore. They give support only for ankles, and that is not enough. Inga bravely suffered repeated measurements and plaster casting. Now we wait for longer splints that will support weak knees and thighs.

Inga speaks beautiful and clearly, but there are some funny expressions which she flips. With all the sad things around, it gives us some smile. E.g. Colachote (for Chocolate) and many more.

It’s already been a month since the FDA approved a drug for SMA in the USA. We still wait when EMA will finally make a decision in the European Union…
