Last weekend we’ve visited „Information and Support Day” organised by SMA Support UK – established charity that supports and empowers anyone affected by Spinal Muscular Atrophy.
During workshops we were able to know, how to deal with SMA in everyday life. Some tips and practical issues have been told. We’ve talked about taking care of everyone’s emotional health as well. We’ve realised that life with SMA is different but it’s funny and beautiful as well!
Later on doctors had lecture about clinical care research round up and children had their presentations prepared during workshops.
We’ve met many people. They’ve shared their experience about SMA with us. We’ve exchanged many contact details. They are all “shiny happy people”! In the evening we’ve ended up watching El Classico together 😉
