Last week we wrote about the exercises Inga was doing on the swing. This week we also found a swing – but this time, Inga was able to touch the ground. It turned out that it gave her a great joy! In the end, she could, like the famous Dorotka from children’s song, “in the early morning stamp her foot”. We hope, that besides the joy, we gave Inga’s legs possibility to feel ground being unhampered by orthoses. It’s just an ordinary feeling for everyone who walks. But it is a magical one for people usually riding a wheelchair.
Inga has undergone further ophthalmologic examinations. She bears the “horrible eye drops” quite well now. The more so that always after a visit to the hospital she goes with her mother for the favourite chocolate-strawberry ice cream. Yummy!
